Gulf Coast Casinos are Staffing Up For Busy Season

Gulf Coast Casinos are Staffing Up For Busy Season

Gulf Coast casinos play a major role in the local economy. So it certainly brings attention when so many of the casinos are staffing up in anticipation for a busy summer season. As tourists flock to the Mississippi Gulf Coast from across the world, we can expect several local businesses to benefit from a widened customer base as well.

This means good things for Mississippi’s economy. As the coast continues to rebuild after more than a decade of Hurricane Katrina’s destruction, increased tourism, employment and small business growth are expected to continue to rise.

As one of the many Gulf Coast casinos, Margaritaville will be opening it’s pool and waterpark on the first weekend in March this year. The is a sign of growth and they have already started increasing it’s staffing levels. With the Casino’s reported hotel occupancy higher this year than last year, it’s expected to be a very busy time on the Gulf Coast.

Upcoming Job Fairs

Gulf Coast casinos aren’t alone in their efforts to hire help in the upcoming months. Several part-time and full-time positions are becoming available during the next few months. Jobs can be found on several local job sites as well as the many job fairs sprouting up across the coast.
